Amidst the hustle and bustle of city life, Bananain's first Concept Store in Beijing is situated in the west of Sanlitun, known as the 'dirty street' before restoration. With this narrow network of alleys, the site connects the northern and southern districts of Sanlitun, foresting 'wildness' interwoven with meticulously crafted commercial forms here. Through re-examining essential elements of the surrounding environment, Some Thoughts aspire to capture the diverse cultural background and commercial ambiance to weave into the interior design.

Sanlitun의 서쪽에 위치한 Bananain의 첫 베이징 콘셉트 스토어는 이 지역의 북부와 남부 지역을 연결하며, 상업적인 형태가 뒤섞인 야생의 환경을 숲으로 뒤바꿨다. Some Thoughts는 주변 환경의 필수적인 요소를 재검토하여 다양한 문화적 배경과 상업적 분위기를 포착, 새로운 인테리어 디자인에 적용했다. 특히 2층 구조의 건물을 가로지르는 원형 다리와 공간의 지질학적 힘을 강조해, 유연한 디스플레이 영역을 제공하고 건축적인 연속체를 형성했다. 방문객들은 구불구불한 공간을 어슬렁거리며 장면의 교차를 통한 새로운 공간의 순환을 경험할 수 있다.

Exploring deeper into the dynamic interior, one enters an independent space dedicated for women's underwear with separate fitting rooms inside, eliciting a more intimate and caring set-up. Proactively avoiding the awkwardness of browsing products is to have more freedom in purchasing. The interior design incorporates architectural elements and coveys a sense of technological and industrial feeling, which contrast with Bananain's product attributes visually, ensuring clear statements of comfort and functionality embedded in different products.

기하학을 모티프로 한 추상적인 개념은 인터스트리얼 무드의 고정장치와 마감을 특징으로 하는 선과 재료를 탐구함으로써 달성된다. bananain 프로젝트의 주재료인 금속 파이프는 곡선 또는 모서리에 대한 요구 사항과 완벽하게 일치하는 이상적 재료다. 이로써 형성된 간격과 사양은 평행한 양방향의 라인을 형성하고, 벽의 마감이나 맞춤형 소품으로 활용 가능하다. 또한 보관과 디스플레이를 위해 설계된 다양한 방식은 기능과 유연성을 업그레이드한다.

When natural and 'organic' materials are disassembled or polished, the rough texture enable us to perceive the aesthetics of 'randomness' and unique fabric of divergent materials. The 'precision' punctuated by the metal structure we inserted creates a 'contrasting aesthetic' between deconstruction and remoulding.

천연·유기 재료를 분해하고 광택을 내 탄생한 거친 질감은 다양한 마감의 무작위성과 독특한 직물의 미학을 지각할 수 있게 돕는다. 인테리어 디자인은 건축적 요소를 통합하고 기술 및 산업적인 느낌을 전달한다. 선과 기하학을 대하는 스튜디오의 추상적인 관념이 해체와 리모델링 사이의 완벽한 '대조적 미학(contrasting aesthetic)'을 완성했다.
